STAL Ltd is delighted to play its part in raising funds for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, through the “Tally Ho Run” vintage rally.
The fundraising rally took place on Sunday, 12th May 2019. Commencing at the Sheffield hospital, the rally ran all the way to Clowne Community Centre to take in the best of the region’s breath-taking roads and scenic villages.
The all-day event was an opportunity for spectators to witness some of the many rare and beautiful classic cars that have been lovingly restored in this country.
Vintage cars feature high on the radar at STAL, with commercial outfits and hobbyists alike coming to the pattern, mould and model specialists for their support. This often involves reverse engineering those parts where technical drawings have been long lost.
STAL’s support at the rally involved sponsoring Buckingham Insurance’s plate on their entry car. Stephen Slater, STAL’s Managing Director, explains why they were keen to get involved, “It is a sad reality that vast numbers of people are diagnosed with cancer every day. Weston Park provides a hugely valuable service to people in our area. We are delighted to support them in this way, and to play our part in helping those receiving a cancer diagnosis to get the expert care and treatment they need.”
More information about the event is available on the Crooked Spire Classic Tours website.
